My involvement with the SPF began in 1997 with the production of a regular newsletter which has developed into Mansion Matters. My husband, Richard, has always been behind the scenes, taking the copy (from myself, Kate Hodges and Fiona Jackson) and turning it into the format before you and doing the website. I would like to thank him very much for his support. I graduated from producing a newsletter to being Chairman and have enjoyed myself enormously. As my fourth and final year as Chairman draws to a close later in the year, at which point I will be taking a very large step back, are there others out there who would like to follow my example and get stuck in? We have a very lively and energetic Committee but always welcome, and need, new members, new ideas and new energy. Do get in touch. Margaret Hill
