It seems hard to believe that we only have one term of this academic year left and, with exams and general midsummer madness (even if it snowing as I write this!) to come, the summer term will no doubt flash by.
Whilst plans for the Summer Fete are well under way (the main and only annual SPF fundraiser of the year and bigger and better than ever this year - see details in this newsletter), we are already thinking about events for next year.
We would love to receive some ideas of what other parents would like us to put on next year and which larger numbers of parents would enjoy coming to. I get the impression in conversations with parents that you would like the opportunity to get together with other parents at social events but then the numbers booking tickets and turning up don't support this feeling.
Are we putting on the wrong events? Would you prefer to come to Prior Park for the evening or meet elsewhere? Do you want a combined parent/children do? A black tie affair?
We have meetings lined up for May and June when all comments and suggestions will be discussed and we hope to have next year's line-up more or less sorted out by the end of June so that dates can be booked well ahead and everyone's diaries are not filled up (with other far less enjoyable things!).
