Where has it gone? Another academic year passes and when one looks back so much was achieved.
Over £4,000 raised. The Society of Parents and Friends (SPF) organised a French Evening (£270), provided scrumptious wine and puds after Christmas Concert (£200), had fun and games at Games A Go-Go (as part of the Sixth Form Charity Week - £100)), put on an Italian Evening (£580) and put on the Summer Fete (over £3000). Not to mention running a bar on bonfire night and starting the 100 Club. We also welcomed new parents in September with wine, nibbles, chat and music.
A HUGE thank you to all of you who have supported our events and activities by buying tickets, donating goods and raffle prizes and contributing in so many other ways too. And if you haven't been able to come to one of our events this year, look out for an event to tempt you next year. It's a brilliant way of meeting friends - new and old. We are planning a variety of events next year designed to appeal to all parents at some point and fulfil our objectives as stated in our Mission Statement. (see page 3).
The week after term starts new parents are invited to an evening when you can meet other parents and start to become involved in the community that is Prior Park College. This will be preceded by a very short AGM where you can join the Committee or just hear a bit about us. Of course all parents are welcome at the AGM.
