The fourth Yuletide Fayre was bigger and better than ever.  Following months of potential stallholders asking for a space the Mansion was bursting at the seams, with an enormous selection of items to buy.

The Bishop's Library was occupied by PPC students selling a variety of things:

Young enterprise group Emprior took orders for their new cards; Peru World Challenge participants raised funds for next summer's expedition; Prior Concern members sold Cheshire Home's calendars.

The John Wood Chapel did a roaring trade in refreshments.

Stallholders pay a £20 deposit and then 10% of their takings over £200. The income from this exceeded past years' by hundreds of pounds, with a total profit on the day of nearly £1,700. Last year's profit was about £1,200.

A magnificent SPF team made the day go smoothly and successfully, earning the appreciation of stallholders and customers alike.  Thanks to everyone who came and spent some money, helped unload and load vehicles, make refreshments and generally contributed to a most enjoyable and worthwhile (if tiring) day.

Saturday 19th March

The next sale will be held just before the end of term, giving you the opportunity to sort out your outgrown and unwanted uniform (cricket and tennis gear will be in particular demand at this point) and pick up some bargains. Recent demand has exceeded supply in several items (notably blazers, skirts, games wear). We have dozens of blue and white shirts, so no more please.
Please pin a slip of paper to each item with name and contact details if you wish to receive 50% of the proceeds (subject to a minimum of £5 total for the year) The third and last sale of the year will be at the end of June, after which monies will be distributed.
