Our second Carnival takes place just 10 days into the new term.

The whole school is involved in and supporting this event, from the youngest child to the most senior teacher, with each House running at least one activity.

It is an ideal opportunity for new and existing pupils and parents to share in an evening of fun, food and fireworks to finish ...and lots more.

Amongst the attractions are: a variety of music, a display of classic cars, hot air balloons, dancing, strolling players, giant games, crockery smash, face painting.... there is something for everyone.

The National Trust will light the lake as it gets dark.

A selection of food will be available: teas from 4 p.m., hot food from about 6 p.m.and drinks throughout at the licensed bar.

Can you spare some time to help on the day?
We need help with: setting up during the day, manning games and side stalls, serving refreshments, pointing people in the right direction, clearing up.


Please can you donate a Raffle Prize? We had some wonderful prizes last year, due to the generosity of parents.  Among this year's prizes we have a Balloon Ride and tickets to a National Trust event.  All donations are very welcome, but perhaps you have an unusual idea for a prize.  Please contact either Margaret or Fiona with your ideas. 

Please donate a bottle for the Bottle Tombola: anything from bottles of shampoo to champagne. Bottles can be sent in with children any time from the first day of term till the day of the Carnival. Please leave alcoholic offerings in Reception yourself or bring on the day.

Please bake a cake or two - and bring to school on the morning if possible.

Please come and join in the fun and help make this second Carnival even more successful than the first (and if you feel like dressing up to add to the Carnival atmosphere, please feel free).
